  • Expect a cloudy, hot and humid Sunday

There will be enough instability out east to pose a threat for strong to severe storms east of the Central Mountains - focused over the northeast corner. Upper 80s and 90s return as we start the work (and school) week.

Another round of storms will move across the state Sunday night through Monday morning bringing potential for heavy rain!

The week ahead will offer lower rain and storm chances just about every day, but the chance gets lower as the week goes along. Highs will be in the upper 80s and 90s through the period. Wind: SE 5-10. Low: 68.

Behind the front, high pressure will begin to build and settle across the region through Sunday leading to partly cloudy skies.

Conte regrets Matic sale to Manchester United
Team-mate Ander Herrera is also desperate to hit the ground running against West Ham. We don't want to give away any competition.

Monday: Morning clouds, then partly cloudy, warm and humid.

Slight chance of showers tomorrow, with most of the area staying dry.

Track showers and storms with WHNT.com's Interactive Radar or swipe over to the radar feature on Live Alert 19! Rain chances for the second half of the week and into next weekend will be a little lower but temperatures will be a little higher around 90 degrees each day with overnight lows only dropping into the 73 to 75 degree range. Temperatures will remain in the low to mid-80s for most of the area, and the drying trend is expected to continue into the following week.
