  • Samsung to launch Gear Sport wearable during IFA

The device carries a model number of SM-R600 and capable of monitoring heart rate.

Shortly after it stopped by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), the Gear Fit 2 Pro has been officially confirmed.

Samsung's Gear smartwatches have been seeing a lack of interest lately, especially since the segment has now become saturated with many new contenders and fitness trackers that can do the same things as the Gear smartwatch. There are speculations that this one might feature enhanced step-tracking accuracy.

North Korea says no negotiations over its nukes
And Trump's previous notion that China could simply solve this problem for everyone is magical thinking. "Not even close. They eventually agreed to measures that the US says will cost North Korea more than a billion dollars each year.

Samsung has been quietly working on its next wearable device which is neither going to be a traditional smartwatch nor exactly a Fitness band. There are claims that the device might be made official around the end of this month along with the Galaxy Note 8.

Given that it's passing through the FCC right now, the device is probably nearly ready to be released. It could be a hybrid between Samsung's Gear S3 and Gear Fit 2 that aims to serve the goal of both a smartwatch and fitness band. The device was spotted visiting the FCC with features such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support but the other details remain unknown. The listing also contains a diagram of the smartwatch that indicates the official name of the wearable to be the Samsung Gear Sport.
