Trump's warning came after the North threatened to fire ballistic missiles over Japan towards the US Pacific island of Guam.

North Korea's military said Wednesday it was considering a missile attack near the U.S. island territory of Guam after President Donald Trump threatened Pyongyang with "fire and fury".

Savage, the author of the best-selling "Trump's War: His Battle for America", noted Kim's threats are more than just talk, "he's actually been firing missiles". Can you guess who said it?

"Now, North Korea is smaller than [we are]".

Xi Jinping, the leader of North Korea's key ally China, urged Trump on Saturday to avoid rhetoric that could inflame tensions, after the U.S. leader ramped up his warnings to Pyongyang, saying the Stalinist regime would "truly regret" taking hostile action against the United States.

"Because we don't really know what's gonna happen, you know".

Predictably, North Korea responded to Trump's bluster with more saber-rattling, threatening to blow up Guam, a USA territory that is within range of a North Korean rocket attack.

One available option is the proposed Restricting First Use of Nuclear Weapons Act, which would prohibit the president from launching a pre-emptive nuclear strike without prior congressional approval.

"I hope people learn from history and don't repeat that. I think there is still time for other measures, sanctions, diplomacy and all those kind of things", the former spy master warned. Because I care about humanity, I'll share a few essential tips from my unpublished pamphlet, "How to Prepare for Donald Trump's Mouth Apocalypse". Sure, they're nutty and will probably never stop telling you how the fluoridation of tap water led to government mind control, but they might let you into their bunkers or share some of their potted meats. "I'd say [Trump's] being incredibly irresponsible and he's putting us in a situation where you could have an accidental launch".
