Horan announced on social media that his album "Flicker" will come out on October 20 followed by a tour in 2018 of the United States and Canada.

Here is one of Horan's newer songs, "Too Much to Ask".

The Mullingar native, who turned 24 on Wednesday, has taken time out his Flicker Sessions tour to release a new single off his upcoming album.

He also posted the album's official artwork, which gives us a super up-close-and-personal look at those baby blues.

Niall Horan's Flicker World Tour 2018 will include Texas-born and Nashville-based Maren Morris.

It's quite a leap up in venue from the House of Blues in Orlando, which Horan will play November 9.

According to Billboard, Niall's previous songs, both debuted on the Billboard Hot 100. After going solo in 2016, Horan released a couple of singles, including "Slow Hands", which has racked up more than 820 million combined streams worldwide.
