  • As Trump Mulls Fate Of Nuclear Deal, Iran Test-Launched A Missile

The missile test, along with efforts to get world powers to cancel or fix the Iran nuclear deal, were the top priorities at the meeting, Israel Radio reported.

"When it comes to defending our country, we will ask nobody for their permission", he said.

Iran unveiled a new ballistic missile capable of carrying multiple warheads for up to 1,120 miles, according to state television.

U.S. President Donald Trump has called the 2015 deal "an embarrassment" but it is supported by the other major powers that negotiated it.

If he says the country has violated the agreement, Congress will have 60 days to decide if the USA should re-impose the economic sanctions the deal lifted.

Trump has threatened to bin the nuclear agreement, saying Iran is developing missiles that may be used to deliver a nuclear warhead when the deal's restrictions are lifted in 2025.

Iran, which fought a brutal war with neighbouring Iraq in the 1980s, sees missiles as a legitimate and vital part of its defence - particularly as regional rivals Saudi Arabia and Israel import huge amounts of military hardware from the West. "Not much of an agreement we have", Trump wrote in the Twitter message.

The deal has to be amended and or nixed so sanctions can be reimposed on Iran that will force it to halt its development of ballistic missile and dismantle its nuclear capabilities, Netanyahu said.

The junior was intercepted by Darius West on his first series and struggled again on his second possession, but didn't give up. Kentucky coach Mark Stoops said he did not see the play where Haynes' hold wiped out a run by Benny Snell to the 25-yard line.

The United States said on Wednesday it is weighing whether its interests were served by the deal under which Tehran agreed to restrict its nuclear programme in return for the loosening of economic sanctions that have crippled its economy.

The Trump administration faces an October 15th deadline to say whether Iran is complying with the terms of the nuclear deal negotiated by the Obama administration.

If he decides that it is not, that could open the way for U.S. lawmakers to reimpose sanctions, leading to the potential collapse of the agreement.

The other signatories to the deal - Britain, France, Germany, China, Russia and the European Union - have all pushed for it to continue.

"Extremely concerned by reports of Iran missile test, which is inconsistent with United Nations resolution 2231".

The statements came one day after Iranian media announced that the country had successfully tested its latest missile.

Iran said Saturday it would keep developing its arsenal, despite United States pressure to stop.
