  • McMaster Defends Trump Speculating On London Subway Bombing

"The travel ban into the United States should be far larger, tougher and more specific-but stupidly, that would not be politically correct!" he wrote on Twitter.

Trump said the attack was carried out by "a loser terrorist" and urged the U.S.to be proactive in combating terrorism.

Police say several people have been injured in the rush-hour incident on a Tube train at Parsons Green station in west London.

So, as Frankie's mower roared into life, Mr Trump turned and strode to the Oval Office to - he said - place a call to Theresa May. and perhaps try to fix some of that damage.

On September 7 a federal court in San Francisco, the liberal-leaning 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, rejected the Trump administration's limited view of who is allowed into the United States under the travel ban.

Hours after the London Underground blast, Trump tweeted about "loser terrorists" and renewed calls for a "larger, tougher" travel ban.

He did not immediately offer condolences to the British people.

President Donald Trump launched into one of his infamous Twitter tirades Friday morning, after having been cautiously focused mostly on policy issues in the wake of two historic and deadly hurricanes. Scotland Yard has been a leader, and our Federal Bureau of Investigation has been a leader.

Theresa May later rebuked her ally following a meeting of the Government's Cobra emergency committee, saying: "I never think it's helpful for anybody to speculate on what is an ongoing investigation".

It is far from the first time that Mr Trump has asked for the internet to be shut down because of terror. Unlike the previous four attacks, there were no deaths as the result of the bombing; 19 people were transported from the site to three different hospitals, while an additional four individuals volunteered to go to the hospital, but none were described to have life-threatening injuries.

"The police and the security services are doing the work necessary to discover the full circumstances of this cowardly attack that's taken place, and to identify all those who are responsible", she said. According to the White House, Trump expressed sympathy for the people injured and promised to continue working with the British to fight terrorism.

Under the order, foreign nationals are banned for 90 days from six countries - Iran, Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Libya, and Yemen - and refugees lacking a link to the USA are barred for 120 days.

Britain's official threat level from terrorism stands at "severe", the second-highest rung on a five-point scale, meaning an attack is highly likely.

Trump's rapid reaction Friday contrasts with a statement he made defending his muted response to the violence in Charlottesville last month, when he said he wanted to ensure he had the facts and not make a "quick statement".
