An 11-year-old girl's joyous reaction to news she was finally being adopted has gone viral online, after the heart-warming moment was caught on camera.

The Fishers had been Tannah's foster parents for two years.

Jackie Alexander, with the American Heritage School, was given permission from the court to tell Tannah and her two siblings had officially found their forever home. 'My heart was so happy, it was like, 'Ahhh!' It was screaming'. "She knew (Tannah) would want to know right away because she had been so anxious", Alexander wrote.

Tannah discloses to KUTV that she was so glad the selection was last that she couldn't relinquish Miss Jackie.

"I grabbed her shoulders and said, have you heard the news baby?"

What's more, Alexander says she simply continued embracing her young companion. My love has grown for this family and I have learned so much from them as they have tried to remain positive despite many setbacks.

United Kingdom race relations: Major report on inequality set to be published
On Tuesday, Mrs May will say the government and institutions must " explain or change " the differences. Its aim is to challenge society to " explain or change " the racial inequalities it unearths.

When Tannah went to the school office recently, the school's office manager was able to give her the good news.

"She's just one that I've made a little bond with and it's lasted", Alexander said. 'It might take a long time but just stick with it and it will be worth it.

"It's the biggest thing that ever happened to me", Tannah said.

"I just thought, 'Oh my gosh, we've done the right thing, '" Fisher said.

Adding, "A moment needed after waking up to another morning of devastating news on t.v.but a sweet reminder today that life can be and still is attractive in spite of it all". "In a world full of sadness and disaster, so wonderful to see this truly lovely and joyous moment", wrote another.

The couple said they hope the adoption will be finalized next month.
