Mobile puts a cap on fast mobile data

  • T-Mobile is about to add a new limit to its unlimited plans

Once that date arrives, T-Mobile will cap the amount of high-speed mobile data its customers can use while in either of those countries. One of those options was the Mobile Without Borders plan that provided unlimited LTE data when customers traveled to Canada or Mexico.

The users can access to less data if they aren't subscribed to an unlimited plan, for example, a customer with 6 GB cap will only have 4 GB to utilize in overseas in case the 2 GB has already consumed.

Go from NY to Canada, or from California to Mexico; it's just like going from Idaho to Texas, from Georgia to Kentucky.

A bug on T-Mobile's website may have allowed hackers to view your personal information.

T-Mobile offered Mobile Without Borders Un-carrier plan which introduced free calling texting and LTE plans for travelers in Mexico, Canada, and US.

T-Mobile says that this change was made to "prevent usage beyond the intent of the product"; reading between the lines likely means that customers were costing the company too much money on the roaming networks. This is for those using the high-speed data in Canada or Mexico. This plan was offered only for United States citizens with a One or One Plus Mobile.

False data scandal at Kobe extends to steel
Planes, trains and automobiles - Kobe Steel's fake product data scandal has now touched every major form of transportation. Kobe Steel's admission this week sent shock waves through the global automotive and aerospace supply chains.

If you are on a legacy plan with a high-speed data maximum (i.e. 4GB, 6GB, 10GB), your data allowance is shared across US, Mexico, and Canada, but you only have up to 5GB high-speed data in Mexico and Canada combined.

What Will Be the Impact of The T-Mobile Plan for One and One Plus Users?

.

Starting next month, customers will have a 5GB LTE data roaming cap, which will affect less than 1-percent of its customers who travel to either country, according to the carrier. For those in that one percent, this is no doubt a disappointing turn of events.

If you have any more queries on the change and how it will reflect on your mobile usage, you can check the dedicated T-Mobile FAQ page to get all the answers.

We already know that T-Mobile's unlimited plans have limits, just like they do at every other wireless carrier.
