Nathan Lane says Harvey Weinstein attacked him at Hillary Clinton's birthday

Patti Solis Doyle, Clinton's 2008 campaign manager, said on CNN she worked for Clinton for 17 years and the rights of women and girls have been at the forefront of Clinton's career.

Attorneys for Weinstein did not immediately return messages Tuesday.

Former Vice President Joe Biden, who has been outspoken on the issue of sexual assault, also has not appeared to make any public statements about Weinstein since the report came out, and the Biden Foundation did not immediately respond to CNN's request for comment.

"These allegations are low-life behavior".

Meanwhile, American intelligence agencies have given little credence to Clinton's assertions of Russia's contribution to her defeat by concluding that Russian President Vladimir Putin initially wanted to impugn Clinton's chances of becoming the President.

"A New York Times report last week revealed allegations of sexual harassment against Weinstein".

Clinton's communications director, Nick Merrill, tweeted out a short statement from the former presidential candidate, for whom Weinstein, a major Democratic donor, had thrown past fundraisers.

Kenyan Opposition Leader Raila Odinga Withdraws From Repeat Poll
Last month, the Supreme Court nullified incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta's August win due to procedural irregularities. October 10: Odinga withdraws candidacy for the new vote, saying election commission hasn't made requested changes.

Three days after the report, Weinstein was sacked by The Weinstein Company, which he co-founded.

In total, both Clintons received a combined $29,832 from Weinstein.

What's remarkable about that silence is that Weinstein isn't, really, denying the allegations.

Kaine was asked about his former running mate Hillary Clinton's silence on Weinstein and argued that "any leader", regardless of political affiliation, should condemn his alleged behavior.

In 2013, first lady Michelle Obama praised Weinstein for his involvement in a student film symposium at the White House.

"I hope she says involved", Davis resident Don Peri said. "All of us should be speaking out against a sexual predator like Harvey Weinstein". The New Yorker story also details allegations that Weinstein subjected four others to unwanted touching that could be classified assault and exposed himself to several women and masturbated in front of them. "Hillary, you weren't shocked or appalled", she wrote. "Though I'm trying to do better, I know I have a long way to go", he said.

Some Republicans have seized on the Weinstein report and his ties to the Democratic Party.
