During its recent Hack Week, Twitter Product Manager Jessica Shah shared some interesting news that could be a pretty decent time-saver.

Privacy will be maintained and an alternate option will be given to Twitter users to save the tweet. a new "Add to Bookmarks" button, along with the regular "Share via DM" option will pop up for the people.

The project has been dubbed #SaveForLater and will make saving an article for later easier.

Shah said many users have asked for a way to easily and privately store tweets, especially users in Japan. The country is growing as an important market for Twitter, and now, is its second biggest market after the U.S. Twitter is yet to confirm precisely when it's going to release this new feature.

This feature is being introduced on huge public demand, so now users will be able to bookmark tweets, save them for a future read. "Been a top request", he tweeted. The difference is that this list was 100 per cent public, and since it became the like/heart button clicking it is just an indication that you like it - not that you want to save it for later. So we need your help.

Chances are that the company might design it according to community feedback.

"We are working on #SaveForLater".

Twitter is developing a way for users to save tweets for later.

To that effect, Twitter replaced the original star icon to favorite tweets with hearts in late 2015.

The social network said it hoped the move would stop people having to "cram" their thoughts into 140 characters. In order to preserve the tweet or we can say to save the tweet, the new updated app offers "Add to Bookmarks" tool. But according to a Twitter spokesperson, the company will launch it publicly soon.

For the second quarter, it reported a loss of $116 million (£87 million) and zero growth in the number of users, at 328 million people.
