Smith, who recently opened up to BIllboard about everything from his relationship status to his penchant for sad songs, took the SNL stage and played two songs from his sophomore effort, The Thrill of It All (Nov. 3). Furthermore, general public tickets become available on Thursday, October 12th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m.

Smith has announced his 2018 North American tour, and Kansas City will be one of 39 stops.

Sam Smith fans looking to see the British soul singer in person will soon get their chance! His single "Stay With Me" won Grammy awards for Record and Song of the Year.

Smith's second album, "The Thrill Of It All", will be released November 3. Each ticket purchased online for any of the USA dates on the tour will include a copy of the new album.

As expected, Smith sang the hit ballad "Too Good at Goodbyes", his first single since the Oscar-winning 2015 Bond theme "Writing's on the Wall".

"I'm still very, very single", Smith elaborated. The new track, titled "Pray", was teased on Smith's social media accounts earlier this week with a cryptic video alongside an October 6 date.

"He's publicly said his next album will "go even deeper" so no doubt fans will find out more then".
