Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Roy Miller, who was arrested in Jacksonville, Fla., early Saturday morning and charged with domestic battery, is accused in the police report of dragging his wife by the hair, tearing a braid from her head and almost ripping off her shirt.

The details of the charges, as obtained by ESPN, are gruesome.

She sustained a small abrasion on her face and a scratch on the back of her neck. The verbal argument allegedly turned physical, with Nicole Miller saying he pushed her around and grabbed her hair. She accused the Kansas City Chiefs' defensive tackle of tearing out a braid out of her head.

When police arrived at the couple's home, Roy Miller was inside sleeping. Several children were at the home at the time, according to the report. After a brief struggle, however, she was able to get to her phone and call the police.

She said Roy threw her phone in the toilet and physically restrained her from retrieving it.
