  • DeShone Kizer called the ill-fated QB sneak on his own

DeShone Kizer left his team's game against the Detroit Lions late in the third quarter after taking this brutal hit from Quandre Diggs.

But a comeback is exactly what the Detroit Lions needed on Sunday, after being down early to the winless Cleveland Browns at Ford Field.

Three plays later, the Browns were in the end zone, and Kizer had his first touchdown pass since Week 3.

The Browns were out of timeouts, however, and after tight end David Njoku could not get two feet down on a potential touchdown pass from quarterback DeShone Kizer, the Browns had a second-and-goal with 15 seconds remaining.

Nevin Lawson of the Detroit Lions recovered a fumble and ran it back for a touchdown in the second quarter Sunday against the Cleveland Browns. The Browns have not won a game all season and if the Lions were to lose, it would be devastating to their playoff chances. Kessler overthrew Tregg by 10 yards, much to the receiver's chagrin.

Kizer passed for 178 yards and a touchdown and carried seven times for 57 rushing yards and a score prior to the injury.

Along with Abdullah, the Lions featured a steady diet of running backs on the game-tying drive. Crowell finished it off with a 6-yard run.

He knows if he goes to war, everything will blow up. "I have to tell the truth that everybody is anxious ", the President said. The framework is to serve as a roadmap for negotiations on a so-called code of conduct in the often-volatile waterway.

Emmanuel Ogbah had four sacks, and Christian Kirksey and Joe Schobert each added a sack.

DeValve found a little bit of redemption with a 35-yard catch in the second half that set up a Browns touchdown.

Myles Garrett continues to make things happen when he is on the field.

Kizer was having his best game of the season before suffering a rib injury that forced him to the locker room.

Luckily, Cleveland's offense turn around from the start in the third as they went eight plays and 85 yards to miraculously tie the game.

For the most part the defense made the Lions work for what they got.
