  • Man finds auto 20 years after forgetting where he parked it

An area newspaper reported that police drove the 76-year-old man and his daughter to the location, but, sadly, the vehicle no longer worked. The German police discovered the auto by accident and informed the owner about their find.

Now, 20 years later, a demolition crew spotted the vehicle near an old industrial building in Frankfurt.

The vehicle was unfit to drive and authorities managed to find the 76-year-old owner, who assumed it had been stolen, Metro reported.

The auto was discovered by accident when the city authorities chose to demolish the old building a few days ago.

It turned out the dopey driver parked the vehicle there almost two whole decades ago but forgot where he had left it.

According to German paper Augsberger Allgemein, the Auto was getting in the way of building work so police had to investigate and find out who it belonged to.

A Brit was involved in a similar incident a year ago when he forgot where he parked his vehicle in Manchester - only to have it returned by cops after six months.

He had lodged a report with the police about his missing auto. I bet when the police called yer man and said "We have fantastic news we found your vehicle!".

Police say the auto could not be driven, and will be sent to the scrap heap.
