With only two days remaining until the taping and only ten days remaining until the CBS broadcast, performers have finally been revealed for the 2017 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

Perry is allegedly banned from traveling to China because of what she wore during a 2015 performance in Taipei, Taiwan: a sequined dress decorated embellished with sunflowers - a symbol for anti-China protesters the year before Perry's performance.

Model Gigi Hadid on Friday announced that she will no longer be walking in this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in Shanghai. While we'll have to wait to see what this year's lingerie extravaganza brings, it's safe to say there's one clear must-have accessory for a VS model off-duty: a French girl-approved hat.

Because of this tension, Perry's 2015 outfit, which she topped off with Taiwanese flag tied around her neck, could have been interpreted as a further anti-China statement. "Maroon 5 was banned a few years ago because one band member wished the Dalai Lama happy birthday on Twitter". Model Gigi Hadid confirmed her absence on Twitter. Her sister, Bella, who posted the video that was later deleted, is still scheduled to be part of the show.

LaVar Ball Does Not Credit Trump for Son's Release After China Arrest
Trump had returned from his Asia trip late Tuesday - and he raised the issue with Chinese President Xi Jinping when he visited Beijing last week.

Ed Razek, executive producer of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and chief creative officer at Victoria's Secret, told People: 'We started booking our musical guests months ago when Harry Styles, global superstar, signed on. Also, the Chinese social media users gave her a warning not to come to Shanghai and called her a racist.

The problems are not dying down for Victoria's Secret.

Alongside Gigi Hadid, some other big names of Victoria's Secret have been denied Chinese visa.

The show, which will air on CBS on November 28, has also seen an exodus of fashion bloggers because the Chinese government has refused to give them visas, while television producers are struggling to get permission to shoot outside the Mercedes-Benz Arena venue, the New York Post Page Six reported.
