Sporting a vibrant 3D-graphics engine, StarCraft II will once again center on the clash between the protoss, terrans, and zerg, with each side deploying legions of veteran, upgraded, and new unit types. Anybody out there still holding out on StarCraft II?

Starting on November 14th, everyone can download StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty for free. The story line chronicles the exploits of marshal-turned-rebel-leader Jim Raynor and features both familiar faces and new heroes.

Let us know if you'll be hopping on StarCraft 2 in the comments! Curious what that actually means?

Iconic PC real-time strategy game, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty, is going free-to-play seven years after its release.

Moira is Overwatch's new healer, theme park map coming next year
For Overwatch players who have also played many of Blizzard's other games, the Blizzard World map is an absolute dream come true. Her right hand fires a long-range beam weapon that saps enemies' health, healing Moira and replenishing her biotic energy.

It's tough to believe StarCraft 2 came out way back in 2010. But, gamers who already own that campaign won't be left out in the cold, because the second campaign, Heart of the Swarm, will be given to players who already own Wings of Liberty. Just be sure to log in sometime between November 8 and December 8 to claim it. But in a seeming effort to combat account abuse, players will first have to achieve 10 game-of-the-day victories in either the unranked ladder or against the game's AI, before they can access the multiplayer ladder. All competitive multiplayer content will also be unlocked for free.

You'll be able to tackle these extra challenging missions with your friends right away. Additional single-player campaigns, and co-op commanders can be unlocked via the Blizzard Shop.

First off, the entire StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty single-player campaign will be playable for free. The news was formally announced by Blizzard during the 2017 Blizzcon opening ceremonies.
