  • Tyrese Says Will and Jada Pinkett Smith Gave Him $5 Million To Stay Off Social Media And Pay Legal Fees Powerful friends come in handy

Tyrese Gibson thanked Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith for giving him $5 million, in an Instagram post Monday.

Model-actor-singer Tyrese Gibson - who has been involved in an arduous child-custody battle with his ex-wife and who is known for his often rambling social-media posts - has said that film and TV stars Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have given him $5 million to relieve financial straits caused by litigation.

Fans learned of the Smiths' kindness and simple request after Tyrese took to the internet to publicly write about it.

Despite the initial heartache, things are starting to look up for the troubled actor, with the Smiths responding to one of his recent Instagram videos where he revealed he was struggling financially with legal bills. The Smiths's and their whole family has always shown up for The Gibson's Uncle Will you're an uncle for real.

Gibson said the couple sent him the money to help keep him "afloat", and that they told him to "get off and stay off the Internet" now that his "daughter's legal fees will be paid". There's a reason for that.

Tyrese hasn't just been ranting about his daughter, but even discussing the private issues that he's had with Dwayne Johnson while working together on the Fast and Furious franchise.

In addition to this, the Los Angeles Department for Children and Family Services have also dropped their investigation against Tyrese in regard to the child abuse allegations.

According to court documents obtained by People in September, full custody of Shayla was temporarily granted to Mitchell Gibson, and Gibson was ordered to say 100 yards away from both his ex-wife, his daughter, and his ex-wife's home. They won't be seeking any criminal charges against the entertainer. See Tyrese's deleted post as well as reaction to it below.
