Claire's pulls makeup kits after allegedly testing positive for asbestos

Kristiana Warner told WPRI-TV that she was already working with a lab on another case and chose to have her six-year-old daughter's makeup tested - leading to the discovery of asbestos in one product, and later in 17 samples.
"Out of an abundance of caution, additional testing is underway", the company said in its Friday statement.
On Friday, Claire's said the initial results of testing by an "independent certified laboratory show that the cosmetics tested to date are asbestos free".
The retailer said it also confirmed that a talcum ingredient in the products came "from a certified asbestos-free European vendor".
