  • Apple Pay Cash comes to Apple Watch

It's all pretty straightforward stuff, but let's just quickly break down the difference between Apple Pay and Apple Pay Cash, for those who aren't quite sure.

Apple Pay Cash goes live in the USA for Apple Watch users in the United States.

Apple Pay Cash, on the other hand, is the Cupertino's system for person-to-person payments, which it first debuted back at WWDC 2017 in June.

Though retail purchases are possible with Apple Pay Cash, the service's primary function is an easy way to transfer money between friends through iMessage.

Apple has finally included the Apple Pay Cash support for Apple Watch via latest software update (watchOS 4.2).

Beginning today, Apple customers in the U.S. can use Apple Pay to send and receive money with friends and family quickly, easily and securely. They can view their Apple Pay Cash transaction history in the Wallet app. Once all of this is done, you should see a new Apple Pay button at the bottom of a conversation in Messages. If they choose to set up the service later, users can go to Settings Wallet & Apple Pay Apple Pay Cash and follow the instructions. After that, users can tap "Send" and confirm the payment using Touch ID or Face ID.

Apple has officially rolled out watchOS 4.2 update. In order to enable the same, the required cash in Apple Cash has to be present. However, a three percent fee is applied when sending money using a credit card.

But despite the delays, it's here now, and it's a significant evolution of Apple Pay, if only for the fact that it directly takes on Google Wallet's and Venmo's peer-to-peer payments feature.

For bank transfers, users can transfer a minimum of $1 or up to $3,000 on a single bank transaction. In a 7-day timeframe, users can add up to $10,000. You can not add more than $10,000 over a 7-day period.
