Dr. Jason Vivadelli, principal of Woodbury Junior-Senior High School, along with Edward Murphy, director of Pupil Personnel Services, will officially start the Day of Service from 9 a.m.to 9:30 a.m.in the auditorium with a program marking the significance of the occasion and addressing the theme of "What are you doing for others?"

A march from downtown - in the area of Center, Weber and El Dorado streets - to King Plaza (the park across from the Civic Auditorium) is planned for Monday, which is the official MLK Jr.

"It's an inspiring day, and it's one that is a strong reminder and one that orients us for every other day that follows", Holcomb said.

Potter said Antioch Baptist members will have a float in the parade with Southern Hills Baptist Church members.
