Reporter Courtney Roland Missing, Last Seen In Houston

Brian Perroni, a reporter with sports news site 247Sports and who described himself as a family friend, told NBC News that Roland's auto, purse and phone were found in the Galleria mall area Sunday afternoon.

According to a Facebook post, She communicated with a friend through text at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday and was anxious "that she was being followed by a blue truck leaving Walgreens" but the location is unknown.

Courtney Roland, 29, a reporter for Rivals' Texas A&M site AggieYell.com, was last seen leaving a Texas elite football camp in the Heights area at around 4pm on Saturday, her family told Click2Houston.

The roommate said he followed Roland to her home in a blue truck as she was parked in the driveway. He then sped off, Vara told the Houston television station.

Roland was supposed to meet with the roommate later but did not show, Click 2 Houston reports.

Houston police did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Roland has her own website where she occasionally puts up videos of interviews that she conducts.

The reporter's parents are now pleading for information on her whereabouts. She has also worked for CoachesCabana.com and Yahoo!

Roland was last seen at 11:50 p.m. local time Saturday, Vara said. She's been represented by Neal Hamil Modeling Agency in Houston since 2002.
