  • Deadpool 2 Trailer Introduces Cable, Mocks Justice League

Earlier today, 20th Century Fox released the first full preview for Deadpool 2 and now an worldwide trailer has been unveiled complete with new footage from the action-packed sequel. Since the last time we did this dance, the studio has not updated the official synopsis. Although, this time his encounter with Wade Wilson does not look so good.

We also get nice shots of all the members of the new and returning cast (except Colossus) including Domino, Vanessa, Weasel, Dopinder, Blind Al, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Julian Dennison's still-unnamed character. In the comics, Bridge was a member of a mercenary group known variously as the Wild Pack, or the Six Pack. The unfinished CGI of Cable's arm led to the mustache joke, while Ryan Reynolds' merc with a mouth quoted Thanos' single line of dialogue from Avengers: Age of Ultron. This next trailer has a whole lot of Cable going on, and it does not care who knows it. It makes flawless sense for Crews to be playing the part of GW Bridge, he even looks like the character.

While Cable's arm is being digitally "fixed", Deadpool uses dolls to portray both him and Cable fighting on a cheap, cardboard doll house set, while exchanging some unprintable banter.

Reavie, who drained a 21-footer at 18 in regulation to force the playoff, missed his par-saving attempt. The couple had been expecting twins but lost one of the children in a tough 2017 for the family.

Like several other Deadpool posters previously released, this one references another movie. But the biggest standout moment here was the apparent first look a mutant team that might be X-Force. Its goofy but it is also right in line with the aesthetic of Deadpool 2.

After an extended marketing campaign that has included Ryan Reynolds tweeting up a storm, a Bob Ross tribute and a delicously amusing Flashdance-inspired poster, we've finally got a chance to see the sequel in action.
