A source told the publication: 'This reunion is all about securing the Spice Girls legacy, and their own company could be one way to do that'.

New reports from TMZ suggest that the girl group's world tour is in "rough planning" stages and due to kick off later this summer with the first performances happening in the UK.

He is also working on lucrative "merchandising opportunities connected with the tour".

Apparently even Victoria Beckham - the Spice Girl least inclined to indulge the objective silliness of a reunion - is completely down with the plan.

Rumors swirled about the popular '90s British pop group after all five bandmates met up at Halliwell's house last week alongside their original manager Simon Fuller. TMZ says that its still early days for the planning, but that "everyone is fully committed and the tour is going to happen".

The alleged tour received lot of traction on social media.

THE Spice Girls are set to tour in the United Kingdom and then America as part of their highly-anticipated reunion.

"We have enjoyed a wonderful afternoon catching-up and reminiscing about the fantastic times we have spent together", the statement read.

The Holler songstress discussed how it had been six years since they had all been in the same room together and now on the same page she added that they're focused on new "opportunities" and spreading some "girl power".

They reunited for a concert tour in 2007 and again to perform at the London Olympics in 2012.
