  • Attorneys in Russia probe believe Mueller could indict Trump report

At a December Oval Office meeting, where Rosenstein asked for President Trump's help in staving off document demands from the House Intelligence Committee, the president, according to CNN, blew by that request and wanted to know whether or not Rosenstein was "on my team".

Schiff is the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, and his comments came hours after Trump approved the public release of a memo spearheaded by the committee's chairman, Rep. Devin Nunes, R-California.

We now know that nearly every accusation leveled against the president with regard to so-called "Russian collusion" actually reflects the actions of what amounts to a cabal of Democratic Party operatives working with Federal Bureau of Investigation and Justice Department fellow-travellers. In a letter sent to the White House on Friday, Democrats warned Trump that "Firing Rod Rosenstein, DOJ Leadership, or Bob Mueller could result in a constitutional crisis of the kind not seen since the Saturday Night Massacre".

Mueller is leading the special counsel's investigation into any potential ties between the Trump campaign and Russian Federation - one of several investigations into the matter.

The attorneys told Politico that while they don't have specific knowledge of Mueller's plans, their legal experience leads them to believe Trump could be indicted for obstruction of justice.

A few days after the encounter between Trump and Rosenstein, the deputy attorney general testified before a House committee that he saw no good reason to fire Mueller. Comey and Yates, the ex-acting attorney general, were both fired by Trump previous year.

North Korean defector featured in State of the Union recounts dramatic escape
Trump said . "The world requires courage to confront people who do not respect human rights", Bush said. Lee Hyeon-Seo is one of a group of North Korean defectors expected to meet with President Donald Trump.

"You figure that one out", Trump replied.

But pressed to answer the question, Comer ultimately said he'd support whatever decision Trump makes. "Shockingly, they use that Yahoo News article from September of 2016 as corroboration for the Steele dossier, but that article was based off Christopher Steele leaking to a reporter", said. The meeting happened just after he and Trump reportedly met at the White House.

Trump and the Republicans think that their con memo is going to change the narrative on the Russian Federation scandal, but it is not.

But the Tea Party Patriots, a conservative group, have already released ads, according to the website Axios, demanding that Rosenstein either "do his job or resign".

Others said that Rosenstein hadn't done anything wrong by saying he was on the president's team. Boente, a former deputy attorney general at DOJ, was named as the FBI's general counsel by Wray last month.
