  • Stormy Daniels offers to return 'hush agreement' money to end silence

Stephanie Clifford, a pornographic actress known professionally as "Stormy Daniels", offered Monday to return the $130,000 payment she received in October 2016 for her continued silence about an alleged affair with President Donald Trump.

Daniels, whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford, gave Cohen until noon Tuesday to respond and said she would wire the money by Friday "to an account designated by the president", according to a letter Daniels' lawyer Michael Avenatti sent to Cohen and his lawyer, Lawrence Rosen. The interview could air as early as this coming Sunday.

The letter offers the return of the funds - the amount she got in exchange for signing it weeks before the November 2016 election.

Her lawyer Michael Avenatti insisted Daniels" desire to speak out "has never been about the money", but rather that she wants to be "allowed to tell the truth'.

"She wants the people to decide who is shooting straight with them and who is being less than forthcoming".

Although Clifford has been making public appearances around the country, she's remained silent about the alleged 2006 affair with the president after receiving the hush money from Cohen just before the 2016 US presidential election.

Raiders release former Utah cornerback Sean Smith
Smith got benched in his first game with the Raiders after getting burned by New Orleans' Brandin Cooks for a 98-yard touchdown. He said he was only on the field in certain packages early in the season and could not get into the flow of a game as a result.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee-Sanders said last week that "arbitration was won in the President's favour" regarding the case, according to CNN.

Longtime Trump lawyer Cohen has admitted paying Clifford $130,000 in 2016.

This request was made in a formal letter to Trump's personal lawyer Micheal Cohen, the Times reports. Does Mr. Trump really think we should believe him? Daniels lawsuit against Trump led to the public release of the nondisclosure form.

It also means the Trump administration would not be able to block the broadcast of an interview that Ms Clifford taped with CBS News' 60 Minutes last week.

Hed even gotten a temporary restraining order in late February that warned Daniels would face penalties if she spoke out about the supposed tryst.

"To be clear, the attempts to intimidate Ms. Clifford into silence and "shut her up" in order to "protect Mr. Trump" continue unabated", the lawsuit claims, lending weight to recent reports that the president's lawyers are attempting to prevent the 60 Minutes interview from airing.
