  • Black buck poaching case: Bishnois to approach HC against Salman Khan's bail order

As per reports, Jodhpur Sessions Judge Ravindra Kumar Joshi was among 87 sessions court judges who have been transferred.

The Jodhpur court on Saturday granted bail to actor Salman Khan.

Seven others, including actors Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neelam, were on trial for the alleged poaching; however, Khan was the only person convicted.

Bhai, as he is fondly called, registered himself into Jodhpur Central Jail yesterday.

Salman had spent two days in the Jodhpur Central Jail as "Qaidi No. 106".

Dev Kumar Khatri, the judge who had passed the order has also been transferred out in the major reshuffle of Rajasthan's judicial officers ordered by the High Court. Followed by the same, he was visited by his sisters Alvira and Arpita who flew down to Rajasthan last afternoon.

Earlier, district and Sessions Judge Ravindra Kumar Joshi allowed Khan's plea for bail and suspension of sentence for a month to allow him to appeal against his conviction and sentence.

Forward Conner Lukan killed in Humboldt Broncos team bus crash
Opp said the coaching staff and players from the Hawks were waiting to help. "I'm really feeling their pain". Surrey Eagles player Jackson Ross ‏said Jaxon "was loved greatly amongst his teammates".

The verdict in the case came 20 years after the actor's infamous blackbuck hunt made national headlines.

Bora also cited a forensic science laboratory (FSL) report that said that no gunshot wound could be ascertained from the bones of the blackbucks sent to the forensic lab.

If the bail application is delayed, Salman Khan will have to spend the weekend behind bars. Salman was convicted and sentenced to five years imprisonment by a trial court on Thursday.

Even some of the Bollywood celebrities like Mika Singh, Sonu Sood and Adnan Sami expressed their joy on Twitter post after bail was given to their "brother" Salman. The villagers assert to have chased Salman's Gypsy on bike but failed to catch him as he drove so fast.

Given that he is one of India's most bankable stars, the case has sparked a media frenzy while adding to Khan's litany of previous legal entanglements.

Judge Joshi has been replaced by Chandrakumar Songara who is now posted in Bhilwara.

The case was filed against Salaman in the year 1998 after members of the Bishnoi community, who revere antelopes, accused Salman of killing two black bucks during a midnight hunting party. Salman was found guilty and sentenced to 5 years in prison and a monetary fine of Rs 10,000 was also imposed on him.
