Brooke Henderson pulled away on Saturday at gusty Ko Olina Golf Club (Sunday, Manila time) to win the Lotte Championship for her sixth LPGA Tour victory.

Sharp is part of a six-way tie at 69, with third-ranked Inbee Park, qualifier Julieta Granada, Mo Martin, Lizette Salas — who lost a playoff here in 2013 — and 2018 Kia Classic victor Eun-Hee Ji.

Redemption seemed at hand on the par-four 15th hole, when Park made a birdie putt about 6 meters (19 feet) long and got herself one shot behind Henderson.

"I hit it great this week, even with all the wind and everything", Henderson, 20, told Golf Channel. Henderson won by four strokes over Spain's Azahara Munoz.

Henderson, who won't be 21 until September, won her sixth LPGA Tour title, leaving her just two short of Sandra Post for most wins by a Canadian player.

Pernilla Lindberg shot 70 in her first start since beating Park in an eight-hole playoff in the year's first major.

That left Park two shots behind Henderson going into the seventh, but she fell further behind as she struggled to make birdies. She is the first golfer from China — female or male — to reach No. 1 in the world rankings. Edberg, from Sweden, is ranked 850th in her first LPGA start.

But Henderson's round came unstuck with a double-bogey on the par-three 16th, followed by a bogey on 18 to turn what had looked like being a solid two-under score into a one-over 73.

Ji Eun-hee was the second-best finisher among Korean golfers at the Lotte Championships, finishing tied for 11th at 3 under par along with KLPGA Tour golfer Kim Ji-hyun who played under invitation.

Hawaii's Michelle Wie, who has risen 100 spots to No. 13 since last March, made her 16th straight cut. She played the first 11 holes Saturday in 2 under to carve out a three-shot advantage, then faltered again.
