McGregor, 29, unexpectedly showed up at a UFC 223 media event Thursday at Barclays Center and was caught on camera throwing a hand dolly through the window of a bus that was carrying UFC fighters.

McGregor will face a number of legal, and potentially bout licencing, issues in the United States over the coming months - he is due back in court on June 14 - but it may not prevent him from fighting in Russian Federation. McGregor's teammate, 25-year-old Cian Cowley, is charged with assault and criminal mischief.

Prior to Thursday, White had said McGregor would "100 percent" return to UFC in 2018.

"What the f-", Chiesa said. We also know that Khabib Nurmagomedov found himself on the bus, but wouldn't leave for one reason.

UFC says two fighters were injured and have been withdrawn from Saturday's undercard.

Their next court appearance was scheduled for June 14.

McGregor spent Thursday night in a Brooklyn police station, after surrendering, and was escorted to a criminal court in handcuffs.

Photos and videos posted on Twitter showed flames and black smoke pouring out the side of the skyscraper. The Fire Department of NY was called to the 50th floor of Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue around 6 p.m.

McGregor's alleged attack occurred during a press event at Barclays Center ahead of the UFC 223 event, which is scheduled for Saturday.

"Approximately 20 guys were apparently let in through the doors by the Mac Life guys, who were credentialled here", UFC president Dana White said, referencing McGregor's brand and its employees who allegedly helped the Dublin native and his crew.

Conor had his first hearing in front of the court on Friday in NY where he was charged with three counts of assault and one of criminal mischief, a judge ordered a bail of $50,000 for Conor and $25,000 for his ally in the attack and friend, Cian Cowley. That bus also contained Ray Borg, who's fight has also been cancelled due to fragments of glass getting in to his eye.

McGregor, who was not asked to enter a plea, left the courthouse without saying anything to the media. "Do you want to be in business with Conor McGregor right now?" Fighter Max Holloway tweeted Friday that he'd been forced to withdraw from his top-billed match against Khabib Nurmagomedov for the lightweight title, which UFC is stripping from McGregor because of his long absence from UFC fights. "You know you don't like a Khabib and you don't like what happened or whatever, fight Khabib, you can come in here and do it legally".

McGregor (21-3) last fought for UFC in November 2016, when he won the lightweight (155-pound) championship, according to Bleacher Report.

But he never defended the title‚ though he took on boxer Floyd Mayweather in August 2017.
