Latest Forecast: Warmer With Less Wind Today, New Storm Arrives Tuesday

None of these storms have met severe weather criteria, but many have still packed a punch! The storms will then move across the Triad around 4 p.m. and exit the Piedmont Triad around 11 p.m. Some will be strong to possibly severe. With the storms comes a chance for wind damage, quarter-sized hail, localized downpours that could produce flash flooding in a few spots and isolated, brief tornadoes. Stay with WALB News 10 for updates as we continue to track these storms. Overnight temperatures will only drop to the 60s with a clear sky and still breezy.

In response to that, the WALB First Alert Weather Team has declared a First Alert Weather Day.
