Look! iPhones Of The Future May Have Curved Screens & Gesture Controls

  • Apple reportedly plans iPhones with curved screens and non-touch gesture controls

Bloomberg's source said touchless control will most likely take at least two years to become available for consumers. Apple has unloaded a handful of helpful clips on the new product, and they can be found on the official iPad how-to page (linked below).

Whether either of these features ever gets implemented into a single iPhone remains a mystery, so for now, all we can do is speculate.

Apart from the curved display, Apple is also exploring touch-less gestures for navigation.

Tim Cook & Co. are also allegedly designing a control feature that would let users perform certain tasks by simply hovering their finger over the screen.

After $-3.84 actual EPS reported by Tesla, Inc . for the previous quarter, Wall Street now forecasts 15.89 % negative EPS growth. The company's shares have fallen in the past week amid speculation over its finances and a fatal U.S. auto crash.

Instead of curving outwards towards the edges of the phone, Apple is considering displays that have a concave curvature that slowly dips towards the center from the top and bottom. But Apple's long-lasting distaste for curved displays may be going the way of its hatred of big-screen phones - which was legendary back in the day before the first Plus iPhone launched. The touchless gesture control is said to add a new dimension of iPhone's display. However, Samsung's feature used a motion sensor on the phone's bezel rather than technology built into the display panel.

With its competitors constantly adopting similar features and designs, Apple is looking to make future iPhones stand out in a market that is increasingly becoming more crowded.

Unlike the inflexible LCD screens covering older models, Cupertino's latest iPhone X embraced the organic light-emitting diode, which can be shaped or even folded. Bloomberg noted that a curved iPhone won't release for another two or three years.

Industry insiders close to Bloomberg suggest that Apple is presently working on the curved displays for iPhones.
