The "Harry Potter" books are getting an anniversary makeover.

The seven black and white covers all link together through the illustration of a woven snake to become one wonderful piece of art.

Publishers Scholastic has revealed the new lineup of covers for the much-loved series and they look slick.

When placed side-by-side in chronological order, the seven books create a single image that tell Harry Potter's "life" story. But when will be new Harry Potter books be released?

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will also be making its Broadway debut at New York's Lyric Theater for previews on March 16, 2018 and will be premiering on April 22, 2018. It's a process he said took "dozens and dozens of sketches to get it right".

Scholastic released the black-and-white book covers last Tuesday. There will be a special collectible boxset out in September with new box art.

The production features seven of the original West End production's stars reprising their roles: Jamie Parker (Harry Potter), Noma Dumezweni (Hermione Granger), Paul Thornley (Ron Weasley), Poppy Miller (Ginny Potter), Sam Clemmett (Albus Potter), Alex Price (Draco Malfoy), and Anthony Boyle (Scorpius Malfoy).

In addition to Scholastic's month of events and the opening of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway, the British Library will also be putting on an exhibition Harry Potter: A History of Magic on October 5.
