Spider-Man finally has a release date for his PS4 exclusive!

If you're in the United Kingdom, that means you'll need to pay attention at 4PM BST. More details on that a bit later down the road. United States and Canada residents are also lucky enough to receive a limited edition collectable pin with this edition.

Sony Interactive Entertainment, Insomniac Games, and Marvel have all teamed up to create what is supposed to be a brand-new and authentic Spider-Man adventure. The latest details come from a rapid-fire Q&A video.

There's also the more expensive Collector's Edition which is $149.99 and includes all of the aforementioned digital content as well as a Steelbook case, a mini artbook by Titan Books, and a statue by Gentle Giant.

Marvel's Spider-Man becomes available September 7, but you can preorder a copy here. Spider-Man is not going to die as soon as he hits water. The pin features Spider-Man from the game's cover.

Let us know your thoughts in the comments section, I can safely say that this is a day 1 purchase for me without any hesitation. According to the press release, that's the aim Insomniac Games would like to achieve and produce a warm glimpse of the past to all the Spider-man fans.

Apple Reportedly Working On Curved iPhone Displays
The company is said to be working on these new projects in hopes of making its smartphones stand out in a sea of competition. The new gesture technology would take into account the proximity of a finger to the screen, the person said .

The digital edition of this issue launches today at 10 am CT (4PM BST) for PC/Mac, iOS, Android, and Google Play.

So far it looks unbelievable, but as with their reveal trailer, Insomniac has only used the 4K capable PS4 Pro to show off the footage.

The most recent clip was showcased at Paris Games Week 2017 and gives us a run-through of the cinematic storyline.

Insomniac also said "if you want a comparison, Ratchet & Clank should give you an idea". As for the game's release, all we now know is that it is slated to be coming sometime this year.

While some of the previous Spider-Man games have been based on movies, Insomniac Games' take on the Marvel hero will be totally original, following an older, more experienced Peter Parker.

But he ends up facing his biggest threat yet - in the guise of supervillain Mister Negative and his dragon-mask-wearing henchmen, the Inner Demons.
