Will Ferrell Released From Hospital After Car Flipped Over in Crash

A representative for Ferrell told TMZ Friday morning that the actor "did not suffer any significant injury" and was released from the hospital. Ferrell was one of the three passengers in the vehicle.

American actor Will Ferrell has been hospitalised following a two-car accident in California which saw his SUV spin out of control and flip over.

Ferrell was one of the three passengers in the auto. The driver of the 2007 vehicle was also unhurt.

Peacock told the press that the accident occurred in the northbound lane of Interstate 5 in Mission Viejo, California in Orange County. Witnesses told TMZ Ferrell's auto was side-wiped by a second vehicle. TMZ posted footage from the scene of an apparently conscious Ferrell being taken by stretcher into an ambulance.

"California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident".
