ZTE Iceberg one-ups the notch trend by using two notches

  • ZTE Iceberg concept has dual notches, dual speakers, and iced out edges

Currently, this phone is only a concept that was published to IF World Design Guide. The renders do not seem much accurate or official ones, but the reports suggest that the company has gotten ZTE Iceberg under the sleeves for real.

While a number of Android phones are adopting unsightly display cutouts, with the upcoming OnePlus 6 set to be the next to join the growing list of iPhone X look-a-likes, the so-called ZTE Iceberg will likely be the first to sport two notches.

The ZTE Iceberg features two display notches: one at the top of the screen and one at the bottom. The front of the device is nearly entirely display. Wireless charging support is meant to be part of the package as well, whereas the bottom notch isn't just meant to allow for added audio functionality but has also been included for the goal of ensuring a fully symmetrical look, something that existing notch-equipped handsets lack.

The first notch appears at the top, like you'd expect, and contains a speaker, front-facing camera, and ambient light sensor. Apart from the double chin, the rounded corners are square-ized outwards with glass panel extended from the display.

KL Rahul smashes IPL record 14-ball 50
They came close to winning the championship back in 2014 but were tantalizingly brushed aside by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Kings XI Punjab won the toss as elected to bowl in the second match of IPL 2018 against Delhi Daredevils at Mohali .

Additionally, the ZTE Iceberg will have dual rear cameras and a fingerprint sensor on the back. Also, don't worry, the phone is equipped with wireless charging technology. That has more to do with its design and less with its specs.

It should be noted again that this is a concept phone.

Over the years we have seen Metal, Polycarbonate and Ceramic unibodies for the phone but the Iceberg will come with a Glass unibody. The future of smartphones looks to be very notch-y. Enter your email to be subscribed to our newsletter.
