  • Jerk Videotaped Threatening To Call ICE On Two Women Speaking Spanish TO EACH OTHER — Obviously He's A

An unidentified man was enraged when the employees of Fresh Kitchen, in the Midtown area, began to speak in Spanish among themselves.

Video posted to Facebook captured the incident at a Fresh Kitchen in Manhattan. There was no evidence that either the employee or the customer were living in the United States illegally, or that they were on welfare.

The irate man told the manager that his next move was to alert U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials and get them to raid the restaurant.

The manager said the man's rant infuriated him, but he refused to return the rancor.

The clip started with the man screaming, "Every person I listen to - he spoke Spanish, he spoke it, she's speaking it - it's America!" "The least they could do is speak English".

Yes, because no one else speaks Spanish in NY.

The man threatens to call immigration authorities and also insults the employee on her physical appearance.

"They where on there [sic] lunch time and ordering there [sic] food and just because they where speaking in Spanish to the waiter this [expletive] jumps in and started to call the waiter and my wife and her best friend all types of names and threatened to call I.C.E on them and the employees!"

Last year, Thomas D. Homan, the acting director ICE, warned anyone living in the country illegally that they were deportable: "You should look over your shoulder", he said. I paid for my welfare, I pay for their ability to live here. Maybe you shouldn't eat that sandwich today. "I wish someone tells me I can't speak in my native language!"

After activist and journalist Shaun King posted the video to Twitter, activists identified the man as Aaron Schlossberg, an attorney with his own law firm with an office near the restaurant. "First of all they wasn't talking to you".

CBS2's call to the law office had not been returned Wednesday night.

Former City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito tweeted in Spanish that the video "demonstrates how ignorant you are and makes clear you support the politics of Trump to destroy our families".

"They were speaking Spanish because they are friends", the manager said.

He later stressed that since Schlossberg was a customer, he as manager "had to stay professional and ask him to leave".
